Sean King Speaks at the Sixth Annual University of Chicago Graduate School of Business (UCGSB) Asia-Pacific Business Conference

The Sixth Annual University of Chicago Graduate School of Business (UCGSB) Asia-Pacific Business Conference was held at UCGSB s Hyde Park Center on October 21st, 2006.

Leaders from government, international institutions and industry discussed the latest market trends and public sector policies that impact business in Asia. Keynote speakers included, Pacific Century CyberWorks (PCCW) Limited Chairman Richard Li (via video conference from Shanghai) and the former Chief International Trade Counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance, Mr. Brian Pomper. Government representatives from the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia were also on hand.

Park Strategies Vice President Sean King participated, alongside government representatives from South Korea and Japan, in the panel entitled U.S.-China Trade, & Investment in Asia. Mr. King discussed Park Strategies activities in Asia, while also touching on the debate over China s currency, China s role in Asia s supply chain, the 2008 Taiwan presidential elections and North Korea s nuclear weapons program.
