Asia Group
The Asian marketplace is rapidly expanding in scope, complexity, and in its importance to global trade. In fact, there are numerous, diverse, and unique markets within the many
geographic, social, and political regions of the world’s largest continent. Certainly, expansion into Asian markets can be daunting without the right kind of knowledge and assistance. With the Asia Group of Park Strategies as your advocate, your organization can uncover new
opportunities previously thought unobtainable.
Positioned at the crossroads of the global supply chain,
the Asia Group of Park Strategies is headquartered in the
governmental quarter of Taipei, Taiwan. Officially opened
in 2009, the Asia Group’s Taipei office furnishes strategic
advisory, government relations, and lobbying services to
its domestic and international clients. All lobbying
engagements are subject to, and provided in accordance
with, the Taiwan Lobbying Law. A stalwart ally of the
United States, the economically powerful island is one of
the original “Four Asian Tigers.” Taiwan is remarkably
receptive to products and services from overseas and
acceded to the World Trade Organization’s Agreement on
Government Procurement in 2009. Taiwan is also an attractive gateway for trade and investment, having
recently removed many longstanding barriers with
mainland China.
The Asia Group is headed by Sean King, a veteran of the U.S. government and private sector. As a highly
regarded expert on contemporary Asian affairs, Mr. King is a frequent public speaker and featured guest on CNBC-Asia, Bloomberg-Asia and Japan’s NHK-World.
He has established a remarkable track record of success,
having served as Senior Advisor for Asia to the United States and Foreign Commercial Service (USFCS) at the
U.S. Department of Commerce, where he oversaw all
domestic USFCS outreach on American exports to mainland China. Prior to his career with USFCS, Mr. King held prominent roles at Citibank and PricewaterhouseCoopers in Singapore.
By partnering with the Asia Group of Park Strategies, clients will gain from a wealth of experience in navigating the unique intricacies of the region to gain market share.
