Former United States Senator Alfonse M. D’Amato (NY), chairman of Park Strategies, LLC, a New York and Albany-based strategic consulting and government relations firm, today announced that Albany veteran lobbyist Lisa Marrello and the government relations team at Jackson Lewis, PC will join the firm on October 1.

“My partners and I could not be more delighted with the inclusion of Lisa and her seven colleagues into the Park Strategies family,” D’Amato said. “Their experience, reputation and culture as a leading government relations organization we found to be a perfect fit for us‎. Each and every one of our new colleagues will deliver the same high quality advice and service that their clients have come to expect across the entire platform of our expanded practice. By joining together, we will only get stronger as a single entity.”

In addition to Marrello, who has spent more than twenty years in government relations in Albany, joining Park Strategies will be Jay Bove, Esq., Edmond Valente, Esq., Tom Buchan, Esq., Tom Wickham, Michael Wilton, Kevin Bronner, and Jessica DeMarco‎. Each of them have significant public and private sector experience and deep subject matter knowledge in a wide range of areas, including health care, insurance, gaming, regulated industries and construction, among others.

Marrello said: “My colleagues and I feel like our joining Park is a bit of a homecoming. We have known the partners and principals of the firm both within and outside of government and consulting, and have respected the great success that Park has achieved over these many years as an independent consulting firm. These are friends as well as collaborators now. We could not ask for more.”

Marrello noted that she and her team are particularly excited to be gaining the opportunity to work with Senator D’Amato as the firm marks its twentieth year in Albany. D’Amato commented that this combining of two well-established practices will serve as the foundation for Park’s next twenty years.

The group will be resident in Park’s Albany office located at 125 State Street, directly across from the State Capitol.
