Covid-19 Update, 03/03/2021
Since March of 2020, virtually every individual and business in New York State has felt the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic along with the policies intended to mitigate the health effects and spread of the disease. Nearly 37,000 New Yorkers have succumbed to what is an unpredictable and often merciless disease. Communities large and small have struggled through surges in infection and hospitalizations, along with what can only be described as the devastating impact of an economic downturn that has accompanied the enactment of those measures intended to control the disease’s spread. This has been and will, at least for the near term, continue to be a long road to recovery from both a public health and economic perspective.
This blog will include updates and links to state and as appropriate, federal COVID-19 pandemic related materials. We hope you will find this a resource as we endeavor to navigate the complexities and challenges of this public health emergency to its conclusion. Above all, we hope you stay safe and well.
