Peter J. Molinaro is a New York-licensed attorney who serves our risk and insurance management group, delivering consulting services to our clients on a wide range of matters. Mr. Molinaro also provides legal services to Park Strategies’ law firm, The D’Amato Group, and is the qualifying officer for the New York license of a national third-party administrator, North American Risk Services (NARS), Inc., before the New York Workers’ Compensation Board.   

Prior to joining Park Strategies, Mr. Molinaro served as the senior deputy superintendent of insurance for New York State and was the department’s chief of policy and program. He was the chief advisor to the superintendent concerning the liquidation bureau and the chair of the Captive Insurance and Alternative Risk Group within the department, and he served as the department’s legislative counsel for several years. Mr. Molinaro also served as the general counsel to the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board, the deputy general attorney of the State Insurance Fund, and worked in private practice as a litigator specializing in insurance defense, municipal affairs, school law, and administrative practice. Mr. Molinaro is counsel to the Town of Colonie Zoning Board, director of the Capital District Italian Bar Association, and chair of the Fire Company Board for the village of Menands (formerly captain and company president).
