Joseph Rossi

Managing Director

Joseph Rossi is a managing director and the leader of the cannabis practice group at Park Strategies. A zealous advocate for his clients, Mr. Rossi concentrates on state and local government relations, business development, relationship management, and strategic planning.

Before joining Park Strategies, Mr. Rossi was a senior business advisor with Empire Advocates LLC, a subsidiary of Barclay Damon LLP. He also served as assistant director of intergovernmental affairs for New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo. Previously, he served as political director of Service Employees International Union Local 200 United. In 2018, Mr. Rossi was elected as a Vice Chair of the NYS Democratic Executive Committee. He was also selected to serve on the Democratic National Convention Platform Committee in 2012 and 2024. Since 2022, Mr. Rossi has been recognized as a Cannabis Industry Power Player by Politics NY and AM New York Metro, and has been quoted in the New York Times, Rolling Stone, Politico, NY Post, The City, and The Buffalo News. In 2024, Mr. Rossi was also recognized on the Schneps Media Manhattan Power List.

Mr. Rossi and his wife started an annual gala – the Syracuse for St. Jude Gala – in memory of his parents that has raised over $1.6 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
