Christopher P. D’Amato


Christopher D’Amato, is the Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Park Strategies, LLC. Located in New York City, with satellite offices and affiliates in Albany, NY, Syracuse, NY and Uniondale, Long Island, Park Strategies is a business consulting and government relations firm that specializes in government affairs, strategic advisory services, and business development. Mr. D’Amato has been with the firm since March of 2001, where he serves as a lead consultant to clients and serves as their liaison with potential corporate partners, government entities, and other market participants. Mr. D’Amato’s client services portfolio has a focus in technology, healthcare, real-estate, energy, and procurement. He works closely with clients to develop strategic action plans related to business development and policy goals and then assists them in executing on those plans. In his capacity as General Counsel, Mr. D’Amato is responsible for vetting all potential client engagements, and assists in developing the work scope and terms of lobbying, consulting, and advisory relationships. Mr. D’Amato also serves as the chief compliance officer to Park Strategies, and oversees the firms federal, state, and local compliance reporting function.

From 1999 to 2001, Mr. D’Amato served as a Senior Counsel in the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Northeast Regional Office in New York. At the SEC, Mr. D’Amato directed investigations into individuals and corporations accused of violating the state and federal securities laws and regulations. Prior to joining the SEC, Mr. D’Amato worked for four years as an Assistant District Attorney in the Trial Division of the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office in New York, where he was responsible for coordinating investigations into criminal activity and directing the prosecution and trial of criminal defendants.

Mr. D’Amato has served on a number of corporate and non-profit boards, including a publicly traded company, and is currently serving as the Chair of the Board of Trustees at The Kew-Forest School, a pre-K through Grade-12 independent school founded in 1918 located in Queens, NY.

Mr. D’Amato is a graduate of the Syracuse University College of Law, and is a member of the New York State Bar, 2nd Department, and admitted to practice before the Federal District Court in the Southern District of New York. Mr. D’Amato earned his Bachelor’s degree at Georgetown University and resides with his wife, Amy, and their three children in Forest Hills, New York.
