With decades of experience practicing in the insurance regulatory and legislative sectors, Edmond Valente leads Park Strategies’ State Farm team. Mr. Valente’s expertise spans strategic planning, lobbying, insurance regulation, licensing, and more. Over the course of his career, Mr. Valente’s duties have included the analysis, drafting, and advocacy of legislation, advising on insurance product development, handling licensing matters, navigating sophisticated compliance issues, and representing clients before the New York State Department of Financial Services.  

Mr. Valente began his career as a litigator, specializing in appellate work for renown New York City insurance law firms, Wilson Elser and LeBoeuf Lamb Greene & MacRae. Following his success at Wilson Elser and LeBoeuf Lamb Greene & MacRae’s, he transferred to their Albany office and explored other areas of practice within the insurance industry, including those within the regulatory and legislative spheres.
