Lisa M. Marrello, Esq. is a skilled government relations attorney who provides tactical advice and counsel to her client base, effectively articulates policy and budget issues, and manages client engagements from end to end. With over 30 years of public policy experience, Ms. Marrello provides legislative policy development and strategy, and she manages administrative and regulatory matters before government agencies.

Ms. Marrello began her career as an assistant counsel for the NYS Assembly Standing Committee on Housing. In that role, she was responsible for assisting the chair with housing policy issues and guiding legislative bills through the committee process. She then began representing New York City agencies as an assistant legislative representative before New York State government, including the NYPD, FDNY, and the Department of Investigations. Ms. Marrello went on to enter private practice where she devoted the majority of her professional career representing healthcare systems and professional, business, and trade associations before state policymakers.

Ms. Marrello continues to maintain the relationships she has built over the course of her career, and those contacts have been highly beneficial to those she serves. Today, our clients rely on Ms. Marrello’s vast experience and expertise in government policy, process, and advocacy as she helps to support their unique objectives.

Over the course of her career, Ms. Marrello has served on various non-profit boards and professional associations in her community, including as a board member of M&T Bank Directors Advisory Council, Albany/Hudson Valley Regions; board member of The Community Hospice Foundation Board; member of the New York State Technology Enterprise Corporation; and member of the New York State Bar Association and the Albany County Bar Association. Lisa has been recognized on several occasions by City & State Magazine with inclusion on the “Albany Power 100 list,” the “Upstate Power 100,” the “Law Power 50,” and the “Above and Beyond Award for Outstanding Women in Law and Lobbying. Lisa also has been recognized as a 2023 Women Who Mean Business recipient by the Albany Business Review.
