David M. Poleto leads Park Strategies hospitality practice, leveraging his extensive knowledge and expertise in the industry to provide valuable guidance and engage with the State Liquor Authority on behalf of his clients. Throughout his more than twenty years serving Park Strategies, Mr. Poleto has been a vital resource to our clients and our firm. Prior to joining Park Strategies, Mr. Poleto was the director of special groups and coalitions for the 2002 Friends of Pataki Campaign Committee where he was responsible for securing and integrating union and ethnic coalition endorsements into the campaign. He also supervised Governor Pataki’s regional representative offices throughout New York State as his director of regional affairs. In his time as the governor’s director of regulatory reform, Mr. Poleto assisted the Governor’s Office of Regulatory Reform with efforts to promote private sector job creation, as well as business growth and expansion, by streamlining comprehensive business permitting and licensing assistance.
Mr. Poleto also served as director of state operations for U.S. Senator Alfonse D’Amato, overseeing the activities of the district offices in Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, and Buffalo. Additionally, Mr. Poleto is an adjunct member of NYC Bar Association Hospitality Law Committee, a member of Sons & Daughters of Italy (Albany Lodge), and former chair of the SUNY Oswego College Council.
