David M. Poleto is a seasoned leader at Park Strategies, where he heads the hospitality practice, drawing on over two decades of industry experience to provide expert guidance to clients. His work includes navigating complex regulatory matters and engaging with the State Liquor Authority and other regulatory agencies on their behalf. Throughout his tenure at Park Strategies, Mr. Poleto has been an invaluable asset to both the firm and its clients.

Before joining Park Strategies, Mr. Poleto served as Director of the Governor’s Office of Regulatory Reform, where he helped lead initiatives aimed at streamlining business permitting and licensing to foster job creation and business growth across New York. He played a key role in the 2002 Friends of Pataki Campaign Committee as the Director of Special Groups and Coalitions. Mr. Poleto was responsible for securing crucial endorsements from unions and ethnic coalitions, as well as managing the campaign’s regional operations across New York State. 

Earlier in his career, Mr. Poleto served as Director of State Operations for U.S. Senator Alfonse D’Amato, overseeing the Senator’s district offices in Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, and Buffalo. He also holds positions as an adjunct member of the NYC Bar Association Hospitality Law Committee, a member of the Sons & Daughters of Italy (Albany Lodge), and was formerly the chair of the SUNY Oswego College Council.
