At Park Strategies, Kevin M. Bronner, Jr. manages the firm’s budget team that analyzes and identifies key budget priorities. Mr. Bronner also specializes in managing client engagements and advising clients on how to best navigate New York’s state and local government budget, legislative, procurement, and regulatory processes.

Prior to joining Park Strategies, Mr. Bronner spent over a decade in state government and served as a frontline negotiator for the Senate Finance Committee where he negotiated state budget appropriations and other legislation on behalf of the Senate Majority Conference. These areas of negotiation included, but were not limited to, the areas of financial services, general government, local government grants assistance, economic development, information technology, and government procurement and taxation. Mr. Bronner helped develop the state’s 2014 corporate tax reform legislation, the Upstate NY Gaming Economic Development Act, and key legislation that created the Department of Financial Services as well as the New York State Gaming Commission.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Bronner has worked as director of policy and research at The Business Council of New York State, Inc., a consultant and researcher at The Empire Center for New York State Policy in Albany, and a special assistant to the commissioner at the New York State Tax Department, Office of Tax Policy Analysis, creating tax legislation for the governor’s budget and policy on how the department should administer tax programs. Mr. Bronner also serves as an adjunct professor at Nelson A. Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy at the University at Albany and currently serves on the Town of Colonie Planning Board.
