Ryan C. Moses heads up Park Strategies’ advocacy and grassroots campaigns practice and our local government practice. Along with managing effective grassroots advocacy campaigns for several Fortune 50 companies and corporate clients, Mr. Moses and his team have succeeded at structuring issue-oriented campaigns and deploying coalitions of stakeholders and non-traditional partners to effectively advocate for the key issues of their clients.
Mr. Moses utilizes his expertise in the regulatory and legislative arenas to help clients navigate the intricacies of state and local government and adapt to the ever-changing legislative landscape. He has advocated for clients at all levels of state and local government and assisted them in obtaining meetings with key governmental and political officials.
Prior to his time at Park Strategies, Mr. Moses served for eight years in Governor George E. Pataki’s administration as special assistant to the governor. Mr. Moses traveled with Governor Pataki across New York State and the nation, advising him on local issues. As director of legislative and local affairs, he acted as the governor’s liaison between local government officials and legislative leaders of both political parties. Mr. Moses also served as deputy secretary to the governor for energy and telecommunications. In this role, Mr. Moses advised the governor on energy and telecommunications policy and served as his liaison to the private sector on those key issues.
In 2005, Mr. Moses served as executive director of the New York Republican State Committee where he coordinated daily operations, fundraising, and communications functions. In that role, Mr. Moses also headed up the “Victory 2005” get-out-the-vote effort—one of the most innovative in party history—that helped secure New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s reelection.
